Pippa Huggins established Global Rover Editing in response to a need in the scientific and professional consulting communities for high-quality, time-efficient document review and editing. Pippa’s earlier career in a medical science, allowed her to develop a thorough understanding of medical writing, and particularly the preparation and presentation of medico-legal reports. After completing a Master of Science degree in the University of Cape Town’s Medical Faculty, Pippa lectured and supervised BSc Honours students, gaining invaluable experience in advising and guiding students in the writing of assignments and research projects. Engaging in on-going research enabled Pippa to author several articles both for local and international medical journals. This solid understanding of the research process, coupled with the ability to analyse and interpret data, and understand and use statistical
information gives Pippa a competitive edge in the editing and review of scientific and academic reports. More recently, Pippa has been the business manager of a socio-economic management consultancy. Pippa’s experience in this sector, accrued over more than a decade, has provided her with valuable insights into the environmental science, socio-economic, and engineering industries. Her considerable knowledge of these specialist areas has been honed by regularly editing reports for professional consultants. Being conversant with the compilation and presentation of such a wide range of specialist reports, Pippa is able to edit and comment critically on a document’s structure and content to ensure it meets the exacting standards required by the professional consulting community.
